Privacy Policy

This is a translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version prevails.
JoyLabs (the "Company") complies with the Korean Personal Information Protection Act and related laws, and processes the personal information of TaleCliff users as follows.
1. Information we process and why

Card numbers and other payment method details are received and processed directly by our payment providers (Toss Payments, Lemon Squeezy); the Company does not receive or store them.
2. Retention
Personal information is deleted promptly when a member deletes their account or the account is deleted. The following is kept separately for the periods required by law:
- Records of contracts, withdrawals, payments and supply: 5 years (Korean E-Commerce Act)
- Records of consumer complaints and disputes: 3 years (Korean E-Commerce Act)
- Access logs: 3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act)
To enforce sign-up restrictions, a non-reversible value (hash) of a restricted account's email and the reason are kept until the restriction is lifted.
Raw visit statistics are kept for up to 13 months and then deleted.
3. Disclosure to third parties
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties, except where required by law or requested by investigative authorities under legal procedures.
4. Processors and international transfers
The Company entrusts processing to the following parties to provide the Service, some of which are located outside Korea. Transfers occur over the network when the Service is used. You may refuse the transfer, but the related features will then be unavailable.

5. Destruction
Personal information is deleted promptly when its retention period ends or its purpose is achieved. Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.
6. Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information.
You can change your name and language and delete your account in account settings. For other requests, email customersupport@talecliff.com; we handle requests within 10 days.
Requests may also be made through a legal guardian or an authorized representative.
7. Children under 14
Only people aged 14 or older may sign up. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 14, we delete it promptly.
8. Cookies and browser storage
The Service uses a cookie to remember your language, browser storage to keep you signed in and to keep a copy of your work, and a random visitor ID for visit statistics. We do not track you for advertising.
You can delete or block cookies and storage in your browser settings; some features, such as staying signed in, may then not work.
9. Security measures
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Security rules limiting data access to the account owner and a minimum of operators
- Records of operator actions and separate storage of secrets such as API keys

12. Changes
If this policy changes, we will announce it on the Service at least 7 days before it takes effect.
